Casual Accountant / Accounts Assistant/Clerk
Location: SMITHFIELD, NSW
Employment Type: Casual – 2 Days per Week
Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: To be discussed upon interview and based on experience and qualifications
Hospitality Equipment **** Pty Ltd (HE****) is seeking a reliable and motivated Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, or Accounting Student to join our team on a casual basis.
This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional or a 3rd or 4th-year Accounting or Finance student looking to gain valuable hands‐on industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
General accounting and bookkeeping duties
Payroll processing and related payroll administration
Financial and management reporting
General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and account reconciliations
Data entry and processing of financial information
Preparing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and reports
Assisting with account reviews and financial reporting
Maintaining accurate financial records




Supporting the accounts team with general financial and administrative duties
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or finance is preferred
3rd or 4th-year Accounting or Finance students are encouraged to apply
Experience or knowledge of MYOB EXO, Xero, and Microsoft Excel
Understanding of payroll, general ledger, reconciliations, and accounting processes
Solid attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication and problem-solving skills
