This is an excellent opportunity for someone with end-to-end Accounts Payable experience who is passionate about process improvement, accuracy, and delivering exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for managing the full Accounts Payable function while ensuring compliance with Company policies, Government regulations, IFRS, SOX requirements, and Coregas management systems (SMS, QMS & cGMP).
You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient payment processing and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts
Validate invoice details including supplier information, GST, amounts, dates, and descriptions
Allocate invoices to the correct general ledger accounts, cost centres, and projects
Ensure invoices are approved in accordance with Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements
Maintain supplier master data, including new vendor setup and amendments
Prepare and process supplier payment runs
Verify supplier banking details and manage bank account changes with appropriate fraud controls
Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
Respond to supplier enquiries and resolve payment issues promptly
Assist with cash flow management by prioritising and scheduling supplier payments
Prepare accruals for outstanding or unprocessed invoices
General
Support business process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
Complete required administrative and finance documentation accurately and on time
Participate in team meetings, performance reviews, training, and company-wide initiatives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple functions to deliver outstanding service
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience managing end-to-end Accounts Payable processes
Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, Sympac, or similar (highly regarded)
Strong understanding of compliance, financial controls, and process governance
Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment
