OPPORTUNITY TO MANAGE THE JULIA CREEK SWIMMING POOL AND AQUATIC CENTRE

McKinlay Shire Council invites expressions of interest from a motivated and community-minded individual, team, or business to take on the management of the Julia Creek Swimming Pool and Aquatic Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to operate a valued community facility, deliver quality aquatic services, and contribute to a protected, active, and welcoming workplace for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:
Day-to-day operation of the Swimming Pool and Aquatic Centre
Water quality management and monitoring
Pool plant and filtration system oversight
Grounds and facility maintenance
Supervision of pool access and patron safety
Kiosk operations
Delivery of Learn to Swim lessons and aquatic programs

The management arrangement is offered for an initial term of 12 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. A housing subsidy is available to the successful applicant.
