About the Role
ThisGraduate Lawyerposition is suited to a junior practitioner who already has exposure topersonal injury lawand is ready to transition into a more autonomous and responsibility-driven role.
You will work closely with the firms Principal and other solicitors, supporting the end-to-end management of compensation claims from initial instructions through to settlement and litigation.
This is a high-exposure role offering genuine responsibility early in your career inpersonal injury law.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with carriage of personal injury and insurance compensation matters
Drafting legal correspondence,
court documents, and settlement submissions
Conducting legal research across Queensland personal injury legislation and case law
Preparing briefs for counsel, medical experts, and barristers
Supporting client communication and maintaining strong file progression
Assisting with liability assessment, quantum analysis, and settlement preparation
About You
You are a motivated and detail-oriented junior lawyer withprior experience in personal injury lawand a strong desire to further develop your litigation expertise.
You will have:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification
Eligibility for admission as a solicitor in Queensland (or completing PLT)
Previous experience in personal injury law (legal clerkship, paralegal, or junior solicitor role)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
A genuine interest in plaintiff personal injury or insurance litigation
A skilled, empathetic, and client-focused approach
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
Experience in litigation, insurance, or compensation law environments
Strong academic performance in torts, civil procedure, or evidence
