We are currently seeking an experiencedStore person / Forklift Operatorto join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused warehouse professional with experience in steel, aluminum, paper, cardboard, or similar industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operating 5T and 12T counterbalance forklifts
Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
Handling and stripping steel coils
Operating a C-hook crane to load machinery (training provided)
Booking incoming stock using warehouse systems
Using RF scanners to locate and track inventory
Working collaboratively within the coil bay team to meet operational targets
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience operating counterbalance forklifts, ideally 5T-12T
Previous warehouse, stores, or steel industry experience
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Ability to perform manual handling and physical work
Basic computer skills for stock receipting and inventory management
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Overhead crane experience (advantageous but not essential)
