About the role:
n
We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Operations Lead to join a leading global technology organisation and oversee its South Pacific Professional Services portfolio. This is a hands-on contract role focused on portfolio governance, delivery performance and resolving issues across complex customer engagements before they require executive escalation.

Key responsibilities:
n
n
Lead weekly project health reviews across multiple professional and managed services engagements.
n
Identify at-risk projects and put clear recovery plans in place.
n
Take ownership of complex customer issues and project remediation activities.
n
Maintain visibility across delivery risks, actions, dependencies and financial exposure.
n
Work closely with onshore and offshore delivery leads on resource demand and workforce planning.
n
Partner with PMO, Sales and Customer Success teams to improve portfolio performance.
n
Prepare reporting for weekly operational reviews,



monthly leadership meetings and quarterly business reviews.
n
Drive accountability across delivery teams and ensure actions are followed through.
n
n
About you:
n
n
15+ years' experience across IT, skilled services or managed services.
n
Strong experience managing large and complex service delivery portfolios.
n
A proven background in recovering troubled projects and managing customer escalations.
n
Strong commercial and financial skills, including forecasting and financial governance.
n
Confident working with executive stakeholders and senior customer contacts.
n
Experience leading geographically dispersed onshore and offshore teams.
n
A background in infrastructure services or systems integration environments.
n
ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2 or similar qualifications would be highly regarded.
