Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high plant reliability and minimal downtime through proactive and reactive maintenance.
Execute daily preventative maintenance schedules across all plant equipment.
Rapidly troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical breakdowns in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain, overhaul, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mixers, industrial presses, and bulk material conveyors.
Perform basic manual machining, component fitting, and light welding/fabrication as required.
Drive a strong safety-first culture by adhering to strict WHS standards and risk assessments.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong trade background, a knack for practical problem-solving, and a reliable work ethic.
Trade Qualification:Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade / Fitting & Turning) or recognized Equivalent.
Experience:2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience within a rapid-paced manufacturing or heavy industrial facility.
Technical Skills:Sound fault-finding expertise inhydraulics and pneumatics, alongside basic manual machining and light welding skills.
Safety First:A continuous commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS).
Tickets (Desirable):Forklift License (LF) or Elevated Work Platform (EWP) tickets are strong advantages.
