We are seeking a capable and passionate experienced Casual Childcare Cook for our beautiful (60 place) Long Day Care Centre in Maroubra.

n

Must have cooking or menu planning experience.

n

Our centres are committed to education, nutrition and community.

n

Licence/Certification:

n

Working with Children Check (Required)

n

Responsibilities include:

n

Cooking and preparing meals, 5 days a week for 60 children

n

Preparing meals for infants and toddlers (puree food)

n

Maintaining the hygiene standards in the kitchen

n

Maintaining a cleaning schedule in the kitchen

n

Liaise with the Centre Director regarding stock of food

n

Ordering of weekly produce and groceries

n

Maintaining a budget

n

Promoting valuable nutrition to children through cooking experiences and lessons

n





You'll be invited to join in our networking meeting with other cooks twice a year during work hours. We understand the importance of a work/ home balance and aim at supporting yours.
