Personal Injury Lawyer – Dust Diseases | 2+ PAE | Brisbane

An excellent opportunity has opened up for a passionate and driven Lawyer with at least 2 years' post-admission experience to join a leading Personal Injury team in Brisbane. This role sits within a specialist Dust Diseases practice, offering exposure to complex and meaningful matters involving asbestos and toxic dust-related claims.

This is a unique chance to work on high-impact cases in a busy and well-respected team, ideal for someone with a solid foundation in personal injury who is ready to step into a more specialised area OR build further on existing experience in dust disease matters.

About the Role:
n
You will be responsible for managing a growing caseload, working closely with senior practitioners, and taking matters through to resolution. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Attending settlement conferences and mediations
n
Preparing matters for trial
n
Liaising with clients, medical professionals, and Counsel
n




Drafting legal documents and managing files end-to-end
n
n
About You:
n
We're looking for a lawyer who brings:
n
n
2+ years of post-admission experience in personal injury or related litigation
n
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple files
n
Confidence in liaising with clients and external stakeholders
n
Experience briefing Counsel
n
Dust disease experience is highly regarded but not essential for someone with strong litigation fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
