As a Criminal Lawyer with our firm, you will manage a wide range of caseload, providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Appearing in Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts
n
Providing explicit and timely advice to clients
n
Preparing for and conducting bail applications, guilty pleas, and trials
n
Liaising with clients, police prosecutors, and Counsel
n
Conducting detailed legal research and preparing all necessary documentation
n
About you
n
A current Queensland Law Society practising certificate is preferable
n
Experience in criminal law
n
Exceptional advocacy, communication, and negotiation skills
n




A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, with a strong understanding of client service principles
n
The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
n
A strong sense of ethics and professionalism
n
You are either Duty Lawyer Accredited in Queensland, or eligible to become accredited
n
