Our warm and easy going North Kellyville family is seeking a nurturing, energetic and genuinely engaged nanny to build a special connection with their wonderful 3-year-old daughter.
This is a particularly rewarding role for someone who loves getting down to a child's level, embracing their interests and understanding the different ways children experience and explore the world.
Their little girl is a happy, affectionate and social toddler who loves people and has a beautiful curiosity about the world around her. She adores animals, bird watching, being amongst nature and spending time outdoors. She also loves books and being read to, alongside singing, dancing, exploring and plenty of hands-on sensory play.
She is wonderfully energetic, with much of her energy coming through sensory seeking. She loves to move her body, explore different textures, get messy, play and have fun ! The family would therefore love someone who understands that her energy is not simply about "keeping busy", but about providing meaningful opportunities for movement, sensory exploration and connection throughout her day.
The family values gentle boundaries, connection and calm co-regulation, and is looking for a nanny who can confidently support their daughter through both her big energy and quieter moments. Someone patient, emotionally steady and able to recognise when she needs movement and stimulation, as well as when she may need support to regulate, will be a wonderful fit.
While Mum works from home at times,
the nanny will have sole-charge responsibility and full autonomy in caring for their daughter during working hours. Mum is looking for someone she can trust to confidently plan their time together, engage her daughter independently and create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment while she focuses on work.
There are no general housekeeping expectations within this position, the focus is genuinely on the child and creating meaningful, developmentally appropriate experiences together.
Above all, the family hopes to find someone who sees and appreciates their daughter for the happy, social, curious and sensory-loving little person she is.
This is a beautiful prospect for a nanny who genuinely enjoys toddlers, embraces messy and active play, understands the importance of co-regulation and would love to build a trust inf long-term relationship with a wonderful little girl and her family.
Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:
Providing attentive and nurturing sole-charge care for G3
