Our client, Lismore Base Hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health team in Lismore, NSW. This is a contract position running for approximately 14 weeks, with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of 21 December ****. You'll be working in a regional mental health setting, supporting young people through their care journey in a supportive clinical setting.

Specialised child and adolescent mental health nursing in a regional hospital setting

Based in Lismore, NSW, in the heart of the Northern Rivers region
n

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n




Strong experience in child and adolescent mental health nursing
n
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young people in a mental health context
n
Current Violence Prevention and Management (VPM) competency or willingness to obtain it
n
Sound clinical judgment and the ability to respond sensitively to the needs of adolescent patients
n
n
Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
n
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist experience in child and adolescent mental health
n
Current or recent Violence Prevention and Management certification
