Job Description
Taproom on Tench is looking for casual bar staff who can provide great service while keeping things moving when the venue gets busy.
Located at The Orchard, 50 Tench Ave, Jamisontown, the venue is a relaxed beer garden and taproom serving up great beer, cocktails, food and positive times by the river.
Key responsibilities
Serving beer, wine, spirits and cocktails
Taking orders and processing POS transactions
Providing friendly and efficient customer service
Setting up, maintaining and closing bar areas
Restocking fridges, glassware and bar supplies
Keeping the venue clean, organised and ready for service
Assisting with functions, events and busy weekend trade
Following RSA and responsible service requirements
Helping create the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere
About you
Are outgoing, approachable and comfortable talking to customers




Can work efficiently when the bar gets busy
Are reliable and turn up ready to work
Work well as part of a team
Are happy to jump in and help wherever needed
Have an interest in beer, cocktails or hospitality, or are keen to learn
Are available for Friday evenings and weekends
Hold a current NSW RSA
Previous hospitality or bar experience is preferred
Casual shifts with a strong focus on weekends
A fun, social working environment
