Despatch and Receivals Clerk reporting to the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager.
This role offers a unique prospect to blend typical despatch responsibilities with in-depth involvement in packing shed operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the logistics and daily packing shed operation.
Key responsibilities
Count, weigh or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments
Examine, unpack and label incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage area
Regularly enter inventory data into tracking database/software on a timely basis
Perform regular material audits to ensure that material is undamaged and maintained neatly
Sort, count, identify, verify and track all material by utilizing the tracking database/software
Verify,



track & process the return of returnable items such as pallets and crates to ensure costs are minimised
About you
Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Despatch and Receivals Clerk
Basic understanding of unloading and loading incoming and outgoing materials
Demonstrated ability to manage time so that all matters are dealt with according to plans and timelines
Basic understanding in Outlook and Microsoft Excel
