Towing Operations Allocator/Dispatcher (PM Shift)
About the role
Alpha Heavy Towing is seeking dedicated and reliableDispatcher/Allocatorto join our Kemps Creek team.
In this full-time PM shift role, you will be responsible for theefficient allocation and coordination of our heavy vehicle fleet, ensuring timely and reliable towing services for our clients throughout NSW region.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage the real-time status of jobs and trucks
Allocate jobs and dispatch drivers based on location, truck type and availability
Communicate with drivers and customers, providing clear updates and ETAs
Price jobs and accurately enter job details into our systems
Coordinate multiple jobs and trucks at the same time
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, delays and changes during the shift
Monitor driver movements and ensure jobs are progressing as required
Liaise with customers, workshops, transport companies and other stakeholders
Ensure all job information is accurately recorded and updated




What We're Looking For
Previous experience intransport allocation, dispatch or logistics coordination
MUST have strong knowledge of Sydney suburbs and roads
Knowledge of differenttruck types and combinations.
Mechanically minded
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure
Flexibility to work weekends when required
A passion for customer service and keeping trucks moving
