Job Description
As an HC Driver at The Haggarty Group pty ltd, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy combination vehicles to transport goods and materials between business locations and customers.
This full time role is based in Ipswich QLD **** and requires you to hold a valid HC driver's licence.
Normal working hours: 7:30-4:30 with flexibility to start earlier and finish earlier for certain jobs.
What you'll be doing
Safely operating heavy combination vehicles, including semi-trailers and hook truck and dog, to transport goods between depots, warehouses and customer sites
Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness and report any issues
Ensuring loads are secure and comply with all relevant road transport regulations
Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and records
Providing excellent customer service and liaising with customers, dispatchers and other team members
Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for




Valid HC driver's licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy combination vehicles
Solid knowledge of road rules and transport regulations
Excellent driving skills and defensive driving abilities
Commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
