About the role
As a Cadet Civil Drafter, you'll support our design team in delivering accurate drawings and practical project outcomes while working towards your engineering qualification.
Day to day
Prepare and update drawings using industry software such as AutoCAD and 12d
Turn mark-ups from engineers into clear, accurate plans
Assist with design development and documentation
Work alongside engineers and drafters to meet project timeframes
Stay organised with project files, notes and documentation
Get involved in the day-to-day running of the office and team
What we're looking for
Must have
Recently completed Year 12
Genuine interest in civil engineering or drafting
Willingness to study towards an associate degree in Civil Engineering or similar
Strong attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving mindset
Reliable, organised and comfortable taking direction
Nice to have
Any exposure to AutoCAD or similar software
Part-time or work experience in a technical or office environment
