Our Front Office / Guest Services team is responsible for both the hotel operations and reservations for the entire Mandoon Estate, making this a varied and interesting role.
This is a casual position, with shifts generally ranging from 2–6 shifts per fortnight.
There are no late-night shifts.
Our Front Office operates during the day, with opening hours between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
Welcoming guests and providing a warm, qualified first impression.
Managing guest check-ins and check-outs.
Handling guest enquiries in person, by phone and via email.
Managing hotel and estate reservations and assisting guests with their bookings.
Providing information about Maya Maya, Mandoon Estate and the Swan Valley.
Responding to guest requests and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
Processing payments, billing and general reception administration.
Assisting with group bookings, corporate events, weddings and conferences.
Working closely with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
Maintaining high standards of presentation and service across the Front Office.
About you
Previous experience in a minimum 4-star hotel and/or Front Office/Reception environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Confidence working independently and making decisions when required.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
A professional and friendly manner.
The ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
Good computer and administration skills.




A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
The ability to work collaboratively and support the wider team.
Experience with Guest Centrix/CMS is advantageous but not essential.

It is the desire of Mandoon Estate to preserve the cultural and historical heritage of this property as well as demonstrate the full potential of the Swan Valley as a significant Wine producing region.
The Mandoon Estate winery was established in **** in the Swan Valley with wines being produced under the guidance of Ryan Sudano (Senior Winemaker).
