The role
Based in our Tullamarine branch, we are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to work as part of our growing Industrial gears service team. This is a hand on role where you will be working as a part of a supportive and a progressive team within a positive working setting. Your responsibilities will include;
Completing basic reports and drawings
Manufacture / modification of minor components where required
Assembling and testing gear boxes
Ensuring the work setting is kept clean and safety is upheld at all times
Maintaining a high standard of work
Adheres to Quality Assurance and OHS standards
About you
Be Trade Qualified and have practical experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
Relevant technical knowledge pertaining to the Mechanical Engineering Industry - ideally gear, gearbox & bearing arrangement experience.
Willing to learn recent processes and procedures.
Ability to work effectively as a team player as well as independently.
High attention to detail.
A positive attitude to safety.
Willingness to work paid overtime when required.
