Fusion Technologies is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the team in Wacol, QLD. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic setting, supporting specialty chemistry formulation for oil and gas well servicing.

Key responsibilities

Sample receiving, handling, testing, and disposal

Laboratory analysis including client sample testing, viscosity/rheological testing, water analysis, benchtop wet chemistry, microbiology testing, and corrosion testing

Surfactant evaluations and compatibility testing

QA/QC testing on finished goods

Research projects and non-routine/special client projects

New product formulations

In office customer support at the wellhead

Serving as a liaison to clients as required

About you

Two (2) year technical diploma in a relevant field such as petroleum engineering or chemical technologist is required

Four (4) year BSc.



in chemistry or engineering degree is considered an asset

Driving license with a clean driving record is required
