Tamworth Golf Club is seeking a motivated and mechanically capable individual to join our team in a full-time position focused on golf course equipment maintenance and course grounds maintenance.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with robust mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with machinery and is confident maintaining and repairing a range of golf course maintenance equipment.
The position will be split between equipment maintenance and repair and golf course grounds maintenance, with some flexibility around the weekly schedule.
Key responsibilities
Maintaining, servicing and repairing our fleet of golf course maintenance equipment
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
Working with diesel and petrol engines
Maintaining and repairing hydraulic systems
Undertaking auto-electrical fault finding and repairs
Assisting with general golf course and grounds maintenance




Working as part of a team to ensure the course and equipment are maintained to a high standard
Participating in a rotating weekend roster for early-morning course maintenance, including mowing of greens
Undertaking weekend work as required on a rotating roster
About you
Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
Knowledge and experience with diesel and petrol engines, hydraulics and auto-electrical systems
A willingness to undertake a variety of mechanical and grounds maintenance tasks
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A good level of physical fitness
The ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
A current and valid driver's licence
The availability and willingness to undertake rostered weekend early-morning work
