$75,000–$85,000 base plus super and uncapped commission

Food Trailer King is looking for an experienced, energetic salesperson to lead sales from our new Ballarat location.
Your primary focus will be helping customers purchase food trailers and turn their business ideas into reality.
You will also assist with enquiries for Digger King excavators and Godzilla Loaders displayed at the Ballarat site.
This is a consultative, high-value sales position.
Many customers are purchasing their first food business, so they need someone who can understand their plans, recommend the right trailer and equipment package, explain the process clearly and confidently ask for the sale.
You will receive warm incoming leads, established products, marketing support and comprehensive product training.
However, we need more than an order taker.
The successful applicant will follow up consistently, develop local opportunities and take ownership of growing the Victorian market.
Key responsibilities
Manage Victorian food-trailer enquiries from initial contact through to deposit and handover
Understand each customer's menu, business plans, budget and equipment requirements
Recommend suitable trailer sizes, layouts and equipment packages
Conduct showroom appointments, video presentations and product demonstrations
Prepare and follow up quotations
Discuss available finance pathways and guide customers through the purchasing process
Maintain accurate customer and sales information in our CRM
Re-engage previous enquiries and unsold quotations
Develop relationships with hospitality operators, event businesses and local entrepreneurs
Represent the business at selected shows, events and promotional activities




Assist customers inspecting Digger King excavators and Godzilla Loaders
Coordinate equipment enquiries with our specialist machinery sales team where required
Work toward agreed deposit, sales-value and gross-profit targets
About you
You may currently work in:
Caravan, motorhome, automotive or trailer sales
Commercial kitchens or hospitality equipment
Current-home, kitchen or other high-value consultative sales
Business finance, business brokerage or a related field
Agricultural, construction or machinery sales
Direct food-trailer or machinery experience is helpful but not essential.
Product knowledge can be taught.
Proven sales ability, follow-up discipline and the confidence to close high-value transactions are essential.
You will be well suited to this role if you:
Have demonstrated success selling considered, high-value products
Are confident communicating by telephone, email, video and face-to-face
Ask good questions and listen before recommending a product
Can explain detailed products in straightforward language
Follow up consistently and do not give up after one or two attempts
Are comfortable discussing pricing, deposits and finance
Work independently while remaining accountable to clear targets
Maintain accurate CRM records and an organised sales pipeline
Are available to work selected Saturdays as part of a roster
