Job Description
Guide Dogs Queensland is a leading provider of services to Queenslanders living with low vision or blindness.
Voted one of Australia's most trusted charities, and with the generous ongoing support of the community, we help people with low vision or blindness achieve their goals and live independent lives of their choosing.
Our services are tailored to each individual, supporting people to fulfil their potential and experience greater independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing.
Guide Dogs Queensland also plays an important national leadership role as the Lead State for Marketing and Brand across the Guide Dogs Alliance, helping to strengthen and coordinate the Guide Dogs brand, marketing and communications nationally.
The role
Are you a detail-oriented marketing and communications professional who enjoys bringing people, stories and ideas together?
Guide Dogs Queensland is seeking a National Partnerships Marketing Officer to join our Community Engagement team on a part-time basis (22.8 hours per week), based at our stunning green Bald Hills campus.
Our national corporate partnerships help connect organisations and communities across Australia with the Guide Dogs mission.
In this role, you will support the marketing activity behind those partnerships, working with the National Corporate Partnerships team in Victoria and Guide Dogs teams across participating states.
Reporting to the National Brand Coordinator, you will bring together content, people and deadlines to deliver agreed marketing commitments to our partners.
One day you might be shaping a story about the difference a partnership has made; the next, coordinating a newsletter, preparing campaign assets or helping teams across the country bring an activation to life.

It is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys creating meaningful content and finds satisfaction in making collaborative work run smoothly.
What could a day look like for you in this role?
Coordinate the monthly national partnerships newsletter, from gathering stories and drafting content through to approvals and distribution.
Work with teams across Australia to uncover compelling client, volunteer and Guide Dog stories that demonstrate the impact of our corporate partnerships.
Draft and coordinate website updates, social media content and campaign materials in line with brand and accessibility requirements.
Keep partnership marketing commitments, campaign calendars and approvals on track, following up with the right people at the right time.
Help bring partner events and activations to life through collateral, briefings, photography and follow-up communications.
Coordinate designers, photographers and other suppliers to deliver approved assets on time.
Create and maintain practical toolkits, templates and approved content that make it easier for teams to work together across states.
Track activity and provide clear updates so our teams and partners know what has been delivered.
About You
You are an organised and collaborative communicator who enjoys turning ideas into polished content and seeing projects through from beginning to end.
You are comfortable working with people across different teams and locations, can balance multiple priorities and deadlines, and take pride in the details that help campaigns and partnerships succeed.
You will bring
Experience in marketing,

communications, digital content or a related role.
We welcome applicants with developing experience as well as experienced professionals looking for a meaningful part-time opportunity.
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills across newsletters, websites and social media.
The ability to coordinate content, approvals and deadlines across different teams and locations.
Experience using digital marketing platforms, content management systems and design tools such as Canva or similar.
An understanding of brand consistency, accessibility and the importance of content permissions and approvals.
An interest in fundraising, corporate partnerships and the work of Guide Dogs
Experience in a not-for-profit, fundraising or partnership setting is highly regarded, but not essential.
What we offer
A 0.6 FTE part-time opportunity that allows you to contribute to meaningful national work while maintaining space for other professional, family, study or personal commitments.
The preferred spread of hours can be discussed with the successful candidate.
Salary packaging options of up to $18,550 tax free per year, increasing your take-home pay.
Flexible working arrangements
A rewarding role with a collaborative team, and a beautiful Bald Hills campus
Wellbeing initiatives and an Employee Assistance Program for employees and their families.
Professional development opportunities and the chance to broaden your experience and accelerate your marketing career
Guide Dogs Queensland has standards of conduct for employees and volunteers to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Our commitment to these standards requires that we conduct background referencing for all persons who will engage in direct and regular involvement with children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
