Ivan's Pies is a proudly Australian owned and operated food manufacturing company known for our commitment to producing high quality, artisanal pies and pastries. We are seeking a qualified or sufficiently experienced Line Leader, Baker, Pastry Chef or Cook to join our production team on a full-time, permanent basis , working Monday to Friday - no weekends.

About the Role

In this role, you will be part of a hands-on production team that is responsible for setting the day up for success by preparing a range of pastry rolls and a wide variety of fillings ready for the production line.

Key responsibilities include:
Preparing, baking and finishing pastry and pie products
Following process diligently and measuring and mixing ingredients to transparent specification
Operating production equipment including mixers, sheeters, kettles and other specialist plant equipment
Maintaining consistent product quality and food safety standards
Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
Adhering to HACCP, GMP and OHS requirements

About You

To be successful, you will have:




Experience as a Food Manufacturing Line Leader, Baker, Pastry Chef or Cook (commercial or manufacturing workplace preferred)
A relevant trade qualification (highly regarded but not essential - we will also accept relevant work experience)
An understanding of Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards
A reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail
Physical capability to perform manual handling (up to 15-25kg)
A team-focused approach and commitment to quality
