Job Summary

Blaster and Painters are responsible for abrasive blasting, surface preparation and spray painting of components and equipment. The role ensures products meet company quality standards while maintaining a protected and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform abrasive blasting of components and equipment.
Prepare surface through sanding, masking, cleaning and priming.
Mix and apply primers, base coats and top coats.
Operate spray painting equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct quality inspections and touch up as required.
Maintain a clean and organised work station.
Assist and support other team when required.
Comply with Company policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience




Minimum 2 years of experience as a Blaster Painter or similar role in the painting/surface preparation industry is preferred.
Knowledge in paint preparation and application technique.
Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application is preferred but not essential.
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to details and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Solid communication skills.
Reliable and strong work ethics.
