Commissioning Technician / Site Manager – Integrated Security Systems | Leadership Role
BSMS Security is seeking an experienced Commissioning & Site Manager to lead the delivery of complex integrated security projects across commercial and government sectors.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a senior technician ready to step up, or an experienced site manager with strong commissioning expertise.
About the Role
You will take ownership of projects from installation through to commissioning and handover, ensuring systems are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
You will manage site teams, subcontractors and client relationships while providing high-level technical expertise across integrated security platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage allocated project sites from start to completion.
Commission complex integrated security systems including:
Access Control
Intercom Systems
Configure head-end systems and complete systems staging.
Conduct FAT, SAT & OAT testing.
Manage subcontractors and internal technicians.
Attend site meetings and report project progress.
Complete daily reporting and documentation in Simpro.
Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and budget requirements.




Provide mentoring and technical leadership to team members.
Deliver professional client communication and project handovers.
Complete ITP's & ASBUILT Drawings.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in commissioning integrated security systems
Strong site management experience on commercial projects
Ability to lead teams and drive project outcomes.
High-level fault finding and technical troubleshooting skills.
Experience managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Class 2 Security Licence (SLED)
