Full timeAdministration/Receptionistposition at our purpose-built Equine Hospital in a specialist equine veterinary practice.
Located at Horsley Park.
Your new company
REC Equine Specialists is the leading specialist equine veterinary practice servicing a wide range of horses and ponies, from miniature to elite race and sport horses.
We provide our clients withthe highest quality, state-of-the-art veterinary services to the greater Sydney area.
Working hours will be 10:00am to 6:00pm
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for:
Administration:
Supporting the veterinary reports requirements of the business
Provision of billing services to our veterinary staff
Administration/maintenanceof client/patient data in our practice management system
Debt collection and answering accounts calls
Reception
Providing support to our head Receptionist during lunchtime, late afternoons and holidays
Meeting and greeting guests
Re-direct calls and take accurate messages as required and appropriate




Maintaining and management ofappointments/bookingsfor the practice
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience in a medical reception or administration role
Theability to multitask and prioritise work
Robust written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
Microsoft Office Intermediate to Advanced
Be punctual and reliable
Be a self-sufficient and motivated individual who has experience working on reception and handling a busy switchboard
Please Note: Basic horse knowledge and veterinary/medical terminology would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential.
