What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

Working alongside a team-oriented workshop team, you will assemble, overhaul, repair, and test specialised HVAC systems:
Execute repairs, overhauls, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty locomotive and passenger rollingstock HVAC units.
Assemble and test HVAC systems according to work instructions, manuals, and rigorous quality standards.
Champion health, safety,



and 5S/LEAN continuous improvement practices across the shop floor.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Requirements:
Trade Qualification: Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration / HVAC Trade.
ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
Valid Drivers licence
Strong troubleshooting ability, attention to detail and excellent verbal communication.
Ability to complete a Rail CAT3 Medical , Drug & Alcohol and police check prior to commencement.

Desirable:
Prior experience with rollingstock, heavy machinery, or transit HVAC systems.
Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing methodologies.
High-risk or safety tickets (Forklift, EWP, Work Safely at Heights, First Aid, RIW/SARC).
Ambition to step into formal team leading or management in the future.
