We are looking for a machine operator who can use or can be trained up in using and maintaining Dornier knitting and Stent machines.
Key responsibilities:
Dornier machine setup: Programming and configuring looms for current design setups
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitoring tension, repairing and maintaining looms to reduce downtime
Quality control: Ensuring fabric meets standards for width, pick rate and yarn specifications
Pattern adjustments: Preparing mechanisms for specific fabrics and adjusting for optimal weaving
General maintenance on machines
Requirements
Key requirements:
LF Forklift license
Must have mechanical aptitude - will train up the right candidate
Maintenance and machine experience with a high attention to detail
Positive communicator who can work in a small team
OH&S; compliant
Brand new purpose built facility in Pakenham
