Machine Operator Afternoon shift- Current state-of-the-art-canning site

We are in need of a Fulltime Machine Operator afternoon shift that has a forklift license and experience in the beverage canning industry is preferred.

The role encompasses but not limited to:

Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards

operating high speed machinery and machine adjustments

troubleshooting

performing and achieving machinery changeovers

accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production-related documents





operating a forklift to load and unload shipping containers and trucks, shifting loads, warehousing, pallet wrapping including completing associated paperwork

working effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime

reporting safety incidents and completing maintenance tasks

ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards

adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedure

The ingredients for success :

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills;

Experience in a fast paced environment ideally within the canning & beverage industry

Excellent communication skills - listening, verbal and written;

Thorough understanding of safety, health and workplace risks

Experience working automated manufacturing lines

Ability to commit to afternoon shift 6am - 2pm Monday-Friday and occasional Saturday if required

a valid forklift (FL) licence and relevant driving experience
