As a Site Inspector, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of Council contractors and service providers, ensuring all work is delivered in line with contract specifications and WH&S; obligations.

Key responsibilities
Monitor construction activities in office, maintaining accurate records, photographic documentation and daily progress reports to the Project Manager.
Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with contract specifications and the NSW WHS Act and Regulation, with authority to stop non-compliant works.
Investigate customer requests and provide technical advice on capital or rehabilitation projects, particularly roads and drainage.

What you need
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and wider Streetscape team, with direct lines into Infrastructure Planning when bigger issues need escalating.
Certificate IV in Civil Construction, or relevant qualifications.
Extensive hands-on experience in civil construction, including roads and drainage systems.
