General Sales Manager- Prestige Vehicles - Melbourne

Our client is a prestige Automotive Dealership located in Melbourne. They are seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to oversee one of their vehicle sales operations. We would like to hear from highly experienced Sales Managers looking for the next step in their career.

Job Responsibilities
To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales Departments including the preparation of monthly management reports, overseeing expenditure and budget achievement, and mentoring sales consultants.
Identify and prospect recent retail customers from within our primary marketing area
Understand the customers objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes
Build rapport, forming long term business relationships
Lead and undertake all aspects of the sales process, from prospect through to delivery.; and assist less experienced sales consultants
Promote a subset of company products and services ensuring successful introductions to Car Care and Finance & Insurance




Attend various business and industry events/meetings as required.

Experience
Previous automotive sale management experience essential, with demonstrated leadership skills within a retail environment.
Sound administrative and organisational skill sufficient to oversee administrative aspects of the Department
Exceptional communication skills
Sound computer skills and a proven ability to maximise output from available databases
highly skilled approach, together with a proven strong work ethic
Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate sales personnel to ensure the achievement of targets
