We are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Coordinator / Educational Leader to join our team at Indooroopilly Outside School Hours Care.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of our vibrant outside school hours care service located in Indooroopilly, QLD.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Coordinator in the overall management and administration of the service
Take on a leadership role in the overseeing the educational program, ensuring it aligns with the My Time our Place Learning Framework
Mentor and support the educators in delivering high-quality care and engaging learning experiences for the children
Maintain positive relationships with children, families and the broader school community
Ensure the service operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice
What We're Looking For
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role within the outside school hours care sector




Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and the ability to translate this into practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independent decision-making
Enthusiasm for continual professional development and a commitment to providing the best possible care and education for children
