Working closely with the Prevention & Population Health Lead, the role supports implementation of the Gippsland Population Health Strategy ********* through a place-based and equity-focused approach.
Key responsibilities
The position works with community organisations, local government, health and community services, government agencies and other regional partners to design, implement and evaluate initiatives that improve population health outcomes.
The role contributes to a coordinated regional public health system by strengthening partnerships, building local capacity, and ensuring prevention approaches are responsive to community needs.
Design, deliver and evaluate health promotion and prevention activities that are evidence-based and responsive to local community needs.




Build and maintain strong partnerships with community organisations, local government, health and community services and other stakeholders to support place-based public health initiatives.
What you need
A relevant tertiary qualification in public health, health promotion, community development or a related discipline.
At least five years' experience in healthcare, public health, local government or a related sector.
Solid knowledge of population health, prevention and the Victorian public health system.
