Aesthetic Building and Facades Pty Ltd is seeking a WHSEQ (Work Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) Officer to join their dynamic team.
This full-time position is based in Sydney, NSW and will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's commitment to the highest standards of health, safety, environment and quality across all construction projects.
Key responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor health, safety, environment and quality management systems and procedures
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
Provide training and support to site teams to promote a strong safety culture
Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate WHSEQ into daily operations
Prepare and present WHSEQ reports for management and regulatory bodies




Continually seek opportunities to improve WHSEQ systems and processes
About you
Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Environmental Management or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar WHSEQ role, preferably within the construction industry
Thorough knowledge of relevant health, safety, environmental and quality legislation and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proven track record in developing and implementing WHSEQ systems and policies
Proficient in the use of relevant software and technologies
