We're looking for a Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our high-performing maintenance team on an equal-time 12-hour day/night roster . This is a hands‑on role supporting a fast‑paced, highly automated production setting—perfect for a mechanically‑minded tradesperson who thrives on problem‑solving and plant reliability.
What You’ll Be Doing
Preventative and breakdown maintenance across bakery machinery, conveyors, ovens, provers and utilities
Mechanical fault finding, diagnostics and repair of automated plant and equipment (conveyor systems, pneumatics, motor/gearboxes, pumps etc)
Supporting production teams to maximise uptime, reliability and safety
Identifying and implementing equipment improvement opportunities
Contributing to a positive, team-focused maintenance culture on shift
What You Bring
Mechanical Fitter/Trade Qualification (mandatory)
Industrial, FMCG or manufacturing maintenance experience
Strong fault-finding and mechanical diagnostics capability
Experience with conveyors, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, motors
A proactive, safety-first mindset with strong communication skills
