Contracts Specialist - International Gold Project

PeopleConnexion is seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist to support an international gold miner delivering a current processing facility. Based in Brisbane, this is an initial six-month contract with the possibility of extension.

You’ll work within the owner’s procurement team, taking responsibility for contract packages from preparation and tender through evaluation, award and administration. The project has a substantial pipeline of packages to progress, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities and keeping work moving with limited supervision.

What you’ll do
Prepare scopes, tender documentation and contract packages in collaboration with project and technical teams
Coordinate tender processes, evaluations,



negotiations and contract awards
Administer contracts through delivery, including variations, claims and contractor performance
Work closely with procurement, engineering and project stakeholders across Australia and the international project team

What you’ll bring
Contracts experience on mining, resources or major capital projects
Robust knowledge of the full contract lifecycle, ideally from an owner’s team
Experience with construction, infrastructure or processing plant packages
The ability to work independently, communicate clearly and manage multiple packages at once
Australian working rights and availability to work from Brisbane
