Are you an experienced Logistics qualified with a firm background in integrated logistics support within the Defence industry? We currently have a need for a Logistics specialist with a firm understanding of MILIS and ERP systems based in Canberra.
The successful candidate will have proven experience conducting Materiel Codification Catalogue activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct asset stocktaking
Management of temporary issue stores including use, storage, condition and return compliance
Conduct codification and cataloguing
Submitting request for Nato Stock Numbers (NSN) to the national codification bureau using MC CAT
keep manufacturer/supplier NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) codes accurate within ERP records
Raise movement requisition orders for freight
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience with MILIS
Solid understanding of cataloguing and codification
Previous experience working withing a Defence Logistics workplace
High attention to detail
Understanding of NSN
Experience with DEF-AUST 1000C desirable
Due to the nature of this role candidate will require to hold Australian citizenship and hold a current AGSVA clearance ideally NV1.
