Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our client's team in Paraburdoo, WA on a 2:1 roster.

WELDER | PARABURDOO, WA | 2:1 ROSTER | ~$80/HR

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for carrying out welding, fabrication and repair work across site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform welding and fabrication works across site
Complete repairs, maintenance and structural fabrication as required
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Carry out MIG, TIG and/or ARC welding as required
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance
Identify and report any defects or issues
Maintain welding equipment, tools and work areas
Work closely with Boilermakers, Fitters and other trades
Follow all site safety procedures and requirements

ABOUT YOU




Relevant Australian welding/boilermaking trade qualification
Demonstrated welding experience, preferably within mining or heavy industry
Robust fabrication and welding skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High level of attention to detail and workmanship
Robust commitment to safety
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Relevant mining tickets and site experience will be highly regarded
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
