As our hospital continues to evolve, we're looking for an enthusiastic, capable Equine Veterinary Nurse to join our team.
This is an all-rounder nursing role within a busy equine hospital, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and has a genuine interest in surgery.

Confidence handling horses, strong situational awareness, and an understanding of equine behaviour and safety are essential in our hospital environment.
About the Role
This position offers exposure across all areas of equine hospital nursing, including:
Medical case management and hospital care
Assisting with lameness workups and procedures
Preparation and maintenance of surgical theatres
Supporting anaesthesia and surgical procedures
Sterilisation and infection control
Bandaging, catheter care, fluid therapy and medication administration
Patient monitoring and recovery
Stock control and equipment maintenance




While this is not a surgery-only role, we are particularly keen to find someone who is motivated to develop their skills in theatre alongside general nursing duties.
What We're Looking For
Equine nursing experience preferred
A strong interest in surgery and anaesthesia
Confidence handling horses in a hospital environment
Ability to remain calm and organised in high-pressure situations
High attention to detail and strong clinical standards
A proactive, team-oriented mindset
A desire to grow and build a long-term career in equine practice
