Royal North Shore Emergency Department.
What you'll be doing
This role is for a dedicated Research Nurse embedded within RNSH Emergency Department.
The Research Nurse will assist with study enrolment, up-skilling of study champions,



notification of enrolments to all participating teams and will coordinate the required follow-up of outcome measures for both Virtual Care patients and those admitted into the hospital under the Trauma Service.
Additionally, they will be the primary study database manager.
Further, the position will encompass all the various phases of research development leading to a positive educational experience for the incumbent RN.
This aids in meeting the goal of developing increased capability and capacity within our organisation.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
An understanding of the Good Clinical Practice principles of clinical research.
Prior experience with clinical research.
This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases.
