Description
Your opportunity
As the Eromanga Town Maintenance Officer at Quilpie Shire Council, you will be the friendly first point of contact for our community and a key player in keeping operations running smoothly.
Reporting to the Town Services Supervisor, you will undertake a variety of maintenance and operational duties that contribute to the day-to-day presentation, functionality and upkeep of Council assets and public spaces.
With integrity and pride, you will:




Provide maintenance and development of streetscape and public areas to improve amenities
Removal of refuge
Undertake road inspections and reporting
Assisting with emergency call outs as required
Operate and maintain equipment, plant, and machinery

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Ability to relate well to community members
Current General Construction Induction Card
HR Licence (or ability to obtain)
Knowledge of plants, watering requirements and standards of garden maintenance and tidy towns.
Although it's not essential, it would be great if you had:




Experience operating ride‐on mowers, tractors, loaders or other plant
TMI Qualification (or willing to obtain)
Water & Plumbing experience highly
