Site Supervisor – Residential Construction
About the role
NEVALS is asmall to medium-sized residential builderseeking an experienced, hands-onSite Supervisorto join our team in SEQ.
This is afull-timerole overseeing the delivery of quality residential projects from pre-start through to completion.
You will be responsible for theday-to-day supervision and coordination of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are deliveredon time, within budget and to a high standard of quality and safety.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have come through the trade,preferably a qualified carpenter with strong practical carpentry and residential construction experience, and who have progressed into a site supervision role.
What you'll be doing
Supervise residential construction projects from pre-start through to completion
Be hands-on and actively involved on site, overseeing daily construction activities, trades and subcontractors
Coordinate trades, construction sequencing and site logistics to keep projects on program
Conduct regular site inspections and ensurequality, workmanship and WHS standardsare maintained
Review plans, specifications and construction details and resolve issues on site
Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications and relevant building requirements
Manage subcontractors, provide clear direction and maintain a productive site setting
Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve delays or construction issues
Coordinate materials, deliveries and procurement requirements
Assist with budgets, variations, cost control and project documentation
Liaise with consultants, suppliers, clients and management as required
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and documentation
Work closely with the NEVALS construction team to ensure projects are delivered to the required standard
What we're looking for
5+ years' experience in residential construction
Qualified Carpenter / trade background strongly preferred




Strong practicalcarpentry and construction experience, with a sound understanding of how residential projects are built
Previous experience as aSite Supervisor, Foreman or Construction Supervisor
Proven ability to manage trades, subcontractors and construction sequencing
Strong understanding of residential construction methodologies, quality control and workmanship
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings
Strong understanding of construction standards, building requirements and WHS
Proven ability to keep projects on program and proactively manage issues
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
Ability to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of projects
Relevant construction qualifications;Carpentry qualification preferred
QBCC experience/licensing would be advantageous
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between project sites across SEQ
