Job Description
As a Dental Assistant at Maven Dental Busselton, you'll work closely with our clinicians and wider practice team to help deliver a positive experience for every patient.
You'll learn how to:
Prepare surgeries and equipment for a range of procedures
Anticipate what your clinician needs throughout treatment
Provide effective four-handed dentistry
Maintain high standards of infection prevention and instrument reprocessing
Support patients throughout their appointments
Keep clinical areas organised and running efficiently
Understand the procedures you're assisting with, not just the tasks involved
Contribute to a positive and supportive team setting
We want you to understand the why, not just the how.
Your first 90 days:
Starting a new role can be overwhelming, particularly if you're new to a practice.
That's why we'll support you through a structured onboarding process, including:

Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
Wants to build a long-term career in dental assisting
Enjoys working as part of a clinical team
Is reliable, organised and willing to learn
Takes pride in providing great patient care




Is curious and isn't afraid to ask questions
Responds positively to feedback
Wants to continually develop their dental assisting skills
Understands the importance of infection control and clinical standards
Can remain calm and professional in a busy practice
Previous dental experience or a dental assisting qualification is highly regarded, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important.
