General Role Description
Assist in the design and development of current products
Material research
Work alongside the R&D; team testing new products
Manage and optimise datasets
Liaising with external test facilities to manage test and assessment programs
Answer phone and email technical enquiries
Prerequisites
Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia, with no requirement for employer sponsorship, either now or in the future.
Availability to work full-time on an ongoing basis.
A genuine commit to the role on a long-term basis.
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or similar qualification in fire safety engineering.
Previous experience in a similar technical role
Experience in the construction industry
Demonstrated ability to innovate, show initiative and logically analyse
Proactive, and willingness to learn
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work unsupervised at times
Ability and willingness to meet deadlines
