We're looking for an experienced Digital Matte Painter to help on our current shows!
This will be a short term contract until the end of ****, ideally based in Brisbane or Adelaide.
Remote may be considered within Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Paint photo-real matte paintings and texture maps to brief
Build textures that integrate into the environment pipeline
Composite matte paintings against plate for review
Grade and manage colour per RSP's pipeline
Optimise paintings for file size and render performance
Update leads on progress, blockers and risks
Skills and Experience
Advanced Photoshop
Working Nuke skills
2.5D camera projection
End-to-end VFX pipeline knowledge, including handovers between departments
Robust composition and attention to detail
Cross-platform: Linux, Mac, Windows
