About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established building services business operating across Melbourne's commercial and mixed-use property sector.
Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior BMS Service Technician to join a high-performing technical team.
This is a genuine senior role — you'll be the go-to technical expert on-site, trusted to work autonomously and deliver quality outcomes for a diverse commercial client base.

The Role
Day-to-day you'll be responsible for:
Servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on BMS systems across commercial sites
Programming and commissioning using BACnet,



Modbus and IP-based control protocols
Identifying and implementing building performance and energy efficiency solutions
Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues efficientlyLiaising directly with facility managers and building owners
Mentoring junior technicians where required
Completing accurate service documentation and reporting
About You
5+ years' experience in BMS service and maintenance
Extensive knowledge of IP protocols, networking and communications
Strong understanding of controls protocols including BACnet and Modbus
Experience with building performance and energy efficiency solutions
Electrical license preferred Restricted electrical license is minimum requirement
Excellent communication skills — confident dealing with clients in office
Current driver's license
Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule
