Ferny Grove Family Practice is seeking a Receptionist to join our warm and close-knit team, working minimum 20 hours per week, with additional hours available to cover staff leave.
We are a proudly owner-operated family practice located just 11 km from Brisbane's CBD, committed to delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a supportive workplace where our team genuinely thrives.
You'll never work alone — we always roster two to three receptionists at a time, so you'll have support by your side every day.
Key responsibilities
Front desk reception and appointment scheduling
Provide strong customer service and create a welcoming and professional environment
Handle billing including Medicare, WorkCover, and private billing
About you




Previous experience in front desk reception and appointment scheduling
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional environment
Billing knowledge (Medicare, WorkCover, and private billing) is desirable
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
