We are a long-established lift service and installation company based in Kelvin Grove, with30 years of experience and a strong reputation within the industry.
We are looking for areliable, organised and detail-focused Accounts Officerto join our office team on a permanent full-time basis.
Working closely with a Director and as part of a small team of eight, this is a varied position suited to someone who enjoys combiningaccounts and administrationin a stable small-business environment.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time position of40 hours per week, with hours Monday to Friday, commencing7:00am.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank reconciliations
Fortnightly payroll processing for field staff
Supplier statement reconciliations
Following up overdue accounts
Email management and general correspondence
Answering and directing telephone enquiries
Data entry, filing and general administrative support
Scheduling and service coordination support
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Using MYOB, Microsoft Office and Google Drive
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, organised and professional
Highly attentive to detail
Experienced with accounting software — MYOB experience is desirable
Experienced in bookkeeping or accounts administration — desirable
A good problem solver with a practical approach
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a small team
Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities
Well organised and able to manage competing priorities
Able to communicate clearly and professionally
Year 12 or equivalent
Holds full working rights in Australia
Candidates with strong administrative skills who are looking to develop their accounts and bookkeeping experience are also encouraged to apply.
