Diagnostic Imaging for Women (difw) is a specialist women's imaging centre located in the heart of Brisbane CBD.
Our dedicated team provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services, with a strong focus on patient care, privacy, dignity and personalised service.
We are looking for a friendly, organised and patient-focusedMedical Receptionistto join our team on a full-time basis and to assist in our Imaging Queensland clinic from time to time.
About The Role
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an important part of the patient journey, providing a warm and professional experience from the moment patients arrive.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and compassionate manner
Managing patient bookings, appointments and enquiries
Answering incoming calls and responding to patient queries
Processing referrals and patient information
Liaising with Radiologists, Sonographers, Mammographers and other members of the clinical team
Processing payments and Medicare/private health claims
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentialitySupporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience
Has excellent customer service and communication skills
Is confident managing a busy reception and telephone environment




Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Is professional, approachable and empathetic
Can work effectively as part of a close-knit team
Understands the importance of privacy, confidentiality and patient care
Experience in radiology or specialist medical practices will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
